Lisa Ringel is a popular and lively presenter on the realities of online behavior and how to provide safeguards from internet predators. Ringel has presented to over 370 schools resulting in almost 30,000 parents and community members receiving the benefit of her practical advice and tools that can immediately be put to work protecting adults and children.
Ringel will highlight the latest tactics and best practices for internet safety in this webinar. There is no cost to join this training; it will equip parents and caregivers with tools to protect their loved ones online.
Ringel is on the front lines of this crucial work. She began as a police dispatcher for the San Diego Police Department in 2007 and transferred to the ICAC in 2010. When she is not on the road doing training, Ringel manages the administrative duties, downloads, research, and case preparation for assignment to the ICAC detectives. At ICAC, Ringel is also responsible for collecting statistical information from the numerous ICAC affiliates in San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial Counties, including preparing reports to the state and federal government for grant funding.
